OCCC delegates gathered in Washington, D.C. on May 13–14, 2025 for the coalition’s biannual summit, hosted by the Allied Pilots Association at the Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations.
OCCC Chairman and Finnair Captain Akseli Meskanen met with APA leadership in Fort Worth to deepen collaboration within the coalition and the broader international pilot community.
In a joint submission to ICAO, the OCCC explicitly detailed the severe safety risks associated with Reduced Crew Operations (RCO), arguing that automation cannot replace the critical redundancy of two qualified pilots on the flight deck.
